Ki’Vonna “Kiki” Henry, a Houston, Texas native, began her journey in dance and gymnastics at the age of six. She is currently a senior dance major at the Kinder High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Now in her seventh and final competitive season with Dance Du Coeur in Sugar Land, Texas, and her third season touring with Streetz Dance Convention and was named a ‘MVA+’ assistant for Velocity Dance Convention for the 2025-2026 season. Kiki has cultivated her skills in contemporary, modern, lyrical, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and ballroom. More recently, began her teaching career specializing in improvisation.
Throughout her competitive career, Kiki has earned numerous accolades and expanded her performance portfolio. She has co-starred as the Mouse Queen in two consecutive productions of the Houston Urban Nutcracker and was cast in Tobe Nwigwe’s Black Angels Collective’s inaugural winter production, Heaven & Earth. In recent times, Kiki was a background dancers for the Swedish pop duo ‘Icona Pop’ at Velocity Nationals 2025.
Kiki has had the privilege of working with esteemed choreographers and values the connections she builds with fellow artists.
