Award winning dancer/choreographer & Louisiana native, Quincy Walker has been dancing since the age of 10; trained in various genres such as jazz, tap, ballet, modern, contemporary, & clogging. He immersed himself in the dance world for the past 2 decades, being an integral part of competition ensembles & dance teams ranging from junior high (DeRidder Dragons Dance Team) through collegiate level (University of Louisiana at Lafayette Ragin Jazz). Quincy was even a member of the Houston Rockets Launch Crew during the 2019-2020 season, often infusing his technical abilities into a predominately B-boy style dance team.
He counts himself blessed to have been able to pass on his years of knowledge & experience to growing artists through teaching dance during college & post grad. His choreography challenged his students’ technical prowess, stamina & ability to convey issues that impact various communities. His focus was ensuring that his students felt beyond capable to tackle any challenge & succeed be they in personal or professional life.
Quincy is currently a Dentist in the Houston area but still finds time to foster his passion for dance while being a full time Tooth Fairy. His zeal for the arts is ever changing, blossoming, & growing. He can’t wait to share his love of dance with all of you!
